Airplane Plant, St. Bernard's Lily, Spider Ivy, Ribbon Plant

Chlorophytum comosum

mother of all spider plants
All the small solid green spiders are pups from this plant.
Showing Off the New Pot

This pot is a little big for such a small pup, but it was a gift from a friend and needed to be displayed.
Plant with the Weird Leaves

plant with pups
This plant has done well producing pups. The brown tips were caused due to too much direct sun light and watering with florinated water. All my spider plants now get bottled water.
Folded Leaves

spider plant with folded leaves
Here is a close-up of the weird leafed plant. Anyone have any idea way the leaves are growing like this?
Rooting the Pups

rooting the pups
Been rooting 3 or 4 pups from the mamma plant since ~March 1, 2002.

Chlorophytum comosum 'Vittatum'

From the Brink

From the Brink
This sample did not survive. (I took 4 root sections from a neglected plant and plopped them in water. This looks to be the only one that survived.)
The Easy Way of Propagation

'Vittatum' cultivar
It was just easier to buy a live, healthy plant.

Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum'

'Variegatum' cultivar
A friend's wife sent this to me.
